Clinical trials (Investigational research medication studies) are the hope for discovering the cure for Alzheimer’s Disease. The Memory Health Center offers a number of clinical trials to our Alzheimer’s patients.

Most of our research studies allow our patients to remain on any currently prescribed medications. Clinical trials are carefully monitored for quality care and contribute valuable knowledge and advances in medical treatments for Alzheimer’s Disease. Clinical trials can also potentially give patients access to new medications not yet available elsewhere. Participation in a clinical trial includes study-related medical care, research medication, assessments, physical exams and lab work. These are provided at no cost to those who qualify. Often time and travel reimbursements are available.
