Generation Program

The memory health center has been selected to participate in global studies of an investigational medication for those at risk of developing symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. We are looking for volunteers with normal memory and thinking abilities who are concerned they may be at risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease. There will be approximately two thousand participants enrolled internationally.

The purpose of the Generation Program trials is to determine the safety and effects of the investigational medication on memory and cognition over time. Qualified participants will be involved for at least 5 years possibly up to 7 years after an initial 3 month screening period.

Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age 60-75
  • Have generally normal memory and thinking abilities
  • Medically healthy – no significant uncontrolled health concerns
  • Have a study partner who can attend study visits with you

As a part of eligibility screening, qualified participants who have not already had genetic testing through a study specified lab will receive study specific genetic testing. All qualified participants will receive imaging tests. As with all studies at the Memory Health Center, there is no fee to participate in a clinical trial. Participants can learn about themselves while contributing to important research in the ongoing fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
